At any given time, there are 50-60 DST investments available in the marketplace. We track and analyze every single one of them to understand the sponsor’s experience and past performance, the property asset class, the investment property and the risk/reward spectrum. Only after a DST offering passes our stringent due diligence process, do we offer it to our clients.
We work with—not for—30 firms that offer DST investments covering a wide range of asset types, including multifamily, student housing, necessity-based retail (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Dollar General), self-storage and industrial properties. This means our focus is on making sure our clients invest in the DST that is right for their investment goals and portfolio, versus haphazardly gathering up investors for a firm or offering.
